Affiliate Terms & Conditions

Affiliates will be paid 50% for referrals that upgrade their membership. The referral must come through their affiliate link be recorded by the Smart-Parenting.com affiliate program. The Smart-Parenting.com Affiliate Progam is the sole decider of who was the referrer. To see who referred you. Look for their affiliate name in 'Sponser' in your Affiliate Profile.

Cookies are placed on your visitors computer for 12 months.

Payment will only be made only through PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can get a PayPal account here for free. (For security reasons please make sure that the URL's are the same - note it is a secure site:  https://www.paypal.com/
Check payments will only be considered if your country of origin is not supported by PayPal. You can find more information on recognized PayPal Countries here. If you are not in PayPal supported country then Contact Us for other arrangements

Commissions will be paid 2 months after payment providing your minimum balance is $100.
e.g. All of January commissions will be paid in the first week of April.

You must be a member to be an affiliate. Cancellation of your Account or Loss of Membership means loss of affiliate privileges including all due commissions.

SPAMMING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.  SMART PARENTING HAS A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. WE HATE SPAM AND WOULD NOT KNOWINGLY SPAM YOU. WE EXPECT YOU TO DO THE SAME.

You may place your affiliate link:

• On your own website (including websites under your direct control, your blogs etc
• In public sites such as blogs, forums, external newsletters, article directories, link directories, classifieds etc, that allow links and/or signatures with links. (Follow individual guidelines as set out for each. Ensure you have read their rules BEFORE you submit. (Note: It is preferred each submission be done individually. Be wary of the use of software or websites utilising mass submissions as to Search Engines this may constitute a form of SPAM.)
• To your own email list. You must make sure you provide an opt-out mechanism when you include your Smart-Parenting.com affiliate link. It is recommended that your list be an opt-in or preferably a double opt in list and you always include an opt-out mechanism.
  

THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE SMART-PARENT.COM AFFILIATE LINK MAY BE INCLUDED IN MASS EMAIL WHERE THAT LIST HAS NOT BEEN CREATED BY THE AFFILIATE. This includes purchased, free lists or friends lists etc. The email list must be your list that has been created through your own list building efforts. "Massive" traffic does not generate sales. Carefully targeted traffic will generate sales.

A SINGLE COMPLAINT MAY BE ENOUGH TO HAVE YOUR MEMBERSHIP AND PRIVILEGES SUMMARILY CANCELED.

Ignorance will not be considered a defence for loss of membership. Be aware that SPAMMING now comes in many forms and that the TOS may be updated from time to time.Smart-Parenting.com will do everything possible to avoid SPAM and as such Smart-Parenting.com affiliates MUST also do the same. Evidence of a Smart-Parenting.com affiliate SPAMMING will result in the immediate cancellation of the affiliate's  Smart-parenting.com memberships and the immediate forfeiting of any & all unpaid commissions. If you have any doubts as to what spamming is - don't do it.

BEING A SMART PARENTING AFFILIATE IS OPTIONAL To earn 50% Commission on referral upgrades you must sign up as an affiliate.  Warning: Be extremely cautious where you place your affiliate link.  Smart Parenting has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON SPAM. Please be respectful of your fellow Internet users. One single Spam complaint could see you account terminated. Remember the 'rules" are constantly changing and what you do today, may not be acceptable tomorrow. Think before you act - If there is doubt,  DON'T DO IT.
GOOD Your Website Your Blog Your email signature Your newsletter Email your own list, but ensure you comply with the CanSpam act. Ensure you have a one click automatic opt out mechanism	CAUTIOUS Classifieds - No Multiple mass listings. Submit individually Directories - Multiple mass listings may create duplicate content. Submit individually Forums - Read Forum Rules to see if they allow postings of  web sites &/or affiliate links Newsletters - If you use a third party newsletter, make sure that it is relevant. Blogs - Make sure they allow links. Blogs & Forums - contribute some content.  Do Not simply place a links with a few words. Make sure your email list has an "Opt-Out" mechanism not just a request out.	DO NOT Do Not Email purchased lists Do Not Email borrowed lists Do Not Place Your Affiliate Link where it is not wanted. (There are certain forums and newsgroups that prohibt links or flagrant promotion.)
